Coated Yarn Industrial is the range of coated yarns developed for the technical-industrial world. Some of the many functional polymers are:

  • EVA (Ethylene-Ainyl Acetate)

  • Co-PA (Co - Polyamide)

  • Co-PES (Co - Polyester)

  • LDPE (Low-density Polyethylene)

  • PP (Polypropylene)

  • PA 12 (Polyamide 12)

  • TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)

  • PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)

  • PPS (Polyphenylene sulfide)

  • PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)

Combined with technical yarns such as:

  • Glass fiber

  • High tenacity polyesther

  • Aramide fiber

  • Stainless steel

  • Basalt fiber

  • UHMWPE

  • Carbon fiber

These products give high mechanical performances, stiffness and solidity of your final product. Coated Yarn Industrial with Eva and Co-PA, thanks to the high level of adhesion and fluidity of the polymers, they can be used to block and stabilize the fabric texture, also increasing its properties thanks to the high tenacity of the fibers utilized.

Coated Yarn Industrial with a TPU coating obtains:

  • Excellent resistance to abrasion, hydrolysis, microbial attack

  • Resistance to solvents

  • Resistance to oils and fats

  • UV stability

Coating in LDPE or PP bring rigidity and mechanical and chemical resistances  to the fabric, as well as chemical compatibility with ither materials, such as rubber or mineral fibers.

Our research also brought us to use super-polymers, such as PEEK. A material that can withstand temperatures over 300 °C, with incredibly high mechanical properties and formidable resistance to external agents. Coated Yarn Industrial with a TPU or PEEK coatings, find applications in the automotive and aerospace sectors, or anywhere there is a need for composite materials.

The entire range is 100% made in Italy and the production can be adapted to the specific requests from the desired application.
